Does the fresh water offset part of the pin weight?

Since the fresh water tank is at the rear of the Montana the water weight should offset some of the pin weight - think of the axles as a fulcrum. Don't throw everything you might use into your trailer - just take what you will need until you get it weighed. Items in the bed of your truck, including fuel tanks, must be added to the equation. Most designs force us to put our gear in the front compartments where they add to the pin weight. Look for lighter weight accessories, etc.
Has anyone heard of an RVer having an accident because of an overloaded trailer or a diesel powered pickup truck breakdown caused by an overload?
Make certain you keep your tires fully inflated to the cold pressure listed on them.
I'd bet G-rated tires might be marginal for many full-times. I heard Keystone is considering H-rated tires for the larger Montanas because many users tend to overload the trailer.
