Yes, you can. Battery requirements for the fifth wheel is only dependant upon your style of rv'ing. If you stay in rv parks all the time and plug into park power, then one battery is fine. If you want to camp with no shore power, then you will need an appropriate size generator and probably want a larger battery bank.
