We have a Chevy 2500 with a Duramax diesel and have pulled our 3400RL all over in the last three years with no problem at all. 155,000 and still runs like new.
I was going to get a W/D a while back but since we don't full time or "long time" yet we didn't see the point in having it. Having said that when we do get a W/D it will definitely be the stackable pair, probably Splendide.
We have a Reese Pull-Rite 20K that works perfect. Not a slider hitch but we have an 8' truck bed so that's not an issue.
