Is it possible to spray the cover with a garden hose and have someone inside looking for the leak? its usually ether the dircor or rubber rim seal or its not closing all the way. Sometimes high winds can lift the lid a little and the rain can blow under it. My fantastic fan as a vent cover on it maybe that might also help here.
