I think typically lack of windows on the door side is due to the kitchen being on that side. Ours is like that. Not a particular problem. But when we buy again, it will be with the kitchen on the street side, and more windows on the door side since that is where we are when outside, and the door side looks onto our sitting area rather than our neighbors area.
