I have had them on my last two rigs and love them. Where I stay during the tax season has lots of trees and birds. As we all know leaves drop and birds poop. No way am I going to go up on the roof to clean the slide every month or so. Yes they can make some noise when it is windey and can hold some rain water. The rain water is easy to get off just run the slide in a bit and it is off. As for the leaves and poop a bit of soppy water and a long handl brush used while closing the slide works well. Again no need to get on the roof. JMHO.
