While they do make noise when it's very windy, I wouldn't be without them. Had toppers since I installed them myself on a previous TT since we're mostly where there are trees, birds and other things that tend to dribble stuff on slide roofs and I really am not interested in having to clean them off every time I want to pull the slides in.
