The freezer in an RV reefer does not get as cold as a residential - typically 0 deg vs -10 deg. The one place this really shows is ice cream. Check the temp adjustment on your reefer - you may be able to get it a little colder. The temp adjustment is on the door where you turn it on and set it up gas, electric or auto.
