We used to live on the front range and have driven to Estes with travel trailers and pop-ups dozens of times. It’s a great drive going up and a relief to get down. I have only done the Trail Ridge portion in the park and the western route to Granby in a car (not towing). I suppose I would do it with the Monte. Leave Estes early in the morning, take your time and go slow. Traffic really picks up later in the day. I could see a mile-long line of cars backed up behind you during a busy time. We drove up to the summit in August without the Monte. It’s breath-taking!
