Did you get it brand new from a dealer? I hope it was new or even used units have some amount of warranty. Of course, they won't want to cover that what would be considered an adjustment. Some dealers don't cover adjustments. I have day/night shades, not blinds, but I'd rather work on shortening blinds, than repairing day/night shades. Good luck to you.
