Same thing occured with my plug. I had to take it apart and shorten the wires, put the plug back on and taped it up, then put the cap on. It would be nice if this plug was at a 90 degree angle. I think the plug comes loose from the cord over time from the weight of the cord hanging down. If if was at a 90 there would be no presure on the cord as there is now. Plus when the sun hits it, I don't think thats helps. Anyone ever see a 90 degree plug?
