Well, There's always someone who does it differently. I bought a thicker set from CW and cannot close the steps if I leave them on, SO, I take them off each time. They have zip ties that I undo. Remember though, we usually stay at least a week at each site, if any less I don't put them on. I would rather leave them on all the time but can't close the steps......
