Set your bedroom zone about 10 degrees cooler then the living room, this will help prevent it from shutting off and you will benefit from both AC units as they are ducted together. Then open the dump valve on the kitchen/living room AC. that will get the cold air into the area faster. you will still have cold air coming out all the vents due to the bedroom AC.
