I love the Indian story about how Devil's Tower was formed when the god's raised that part of the land to save some children from a dangerous bear.

The place is definitely breathtaking. I remember the route we took when we could see it in the distance then it kept reappearing ever so larger as we got closer. Truly amazing. The thing makes no sense even with the theories as to why it's there and how it got there, like the rest of the earth just dropped a few hundred feet and forgot that part.

I'd like to get to the top to see it Steven Spielberg's alien locating equipment is still up there.

That's one of the must-sees in Wyoming.
