FIREPLACE....GOT IT DONE

After a couple of outings using the heater and burning through the propane, we opted to purchase and install the fireplace we decided we didn't need when we ordered the rig. We figured out we should be using the campground's electricity, which we're paying for anyway, instead of our propane.

Thanks to all of those who replied to my inquiries before we purchased and provided specifications and dimensions. Although we could not find a Dimplex BF8000ST, the Dimplex DF2608 has the same specs and dimensions and fits perfectly. We also decided to add a surround to the fireplace to give it a more finished look. I have added a few photos below, but here is a link to the entire album with explanations and descriptions: Fireplace Install.
Jack

Cabinet before fireplace with doors closed.

Back of cabinet removed. It was held in by 4 screws.

We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of heat thrown out and how quiet the fan is.

Fireplace surround installed using construction adhesive ensuring to leave enough clearance on top and sides so the fireplace can be removed for servicing.
