Never underestimate a money hungry government. Twelve years ago when we moved from Missouri to Ohio, the Missouri tax people harassed us for three years trying to collect Missouri income tax. We had to send them proof that we no longer had a presence in the state along with proof that we now owned a home in Ohio.
