ESET for us! McAfee let in many problems. Norton Security was fine but a bit pricey for four computers and also took up a lot of the computers space and slowed things down. ESET was recommended by a friend who is an IT professional. A second IT pro agreed. It is NOT free but it is better than the others. It updates regularly and we have had zero troubles. Our MIT son who is a computer geek to the max loves it also. So, that is what we have and we're sticking with it!

Google comparisons of the available anti-virus,spyware programs. It is very interesting. Hope that helps.
