I also have the 06 PSD. In tow haul I do not have this problem. Nice clean smooth downshift. In fact, when coasting, if I tap the brake pedal, it causes the transmission to downshift to the next lower gear. No noise or bumping whatsoever. If I were you, I would head for the dealership... Tim
