Michael look inside the basement on the entry side then look to the left and you can take out the first panel the furnace is also in there. I have been in mine to repair a lose heat duct and run a tv cable and power plug for the basement tv I installed last yr. Its mounted to the floor under where the stairs go to the BR in mine.
