Keep us posted on your improvements. We are on the other end of the spectrum, using the camper on weekends and vacations only (we have a wonderful 20acre estate in the Arkansas Ozarks and have a few years till retirement).
I, like you, am surprised that none of the manufactures have hit upon the idea of building a true two story 5th wheel with a full length basement garage/cargo bay. The 381 is just one step away from that concept. All they have to do is raise that kitchen floor up level to the bedroom and living room. It seems like such an obvious next step.....
