When we got our unit we put a memory foam topper from Costco on top of the cheap factorymattress. It worked pretty good. Last year we were going to be in the trailer for 9 months so thought I would upgrade. Ordered memory foam mattress from Costco. 10" inheight and must be close to 100#. Was a bit firm to our liking so got one of those egg crate foam toppers and found it to be very comfortable. Only downside was the weight.
This year we ordered another one from Costco for our house and got one modelup which is 14" high. Very comfortable and no topper required. Was heavier though and wouldn't want the extra weight for the trailer.
