I would have thought the same however, I did some chicken last night, marinated in some Italian dressing. The dressing stays on the mat and flavors the chicken. Next to the chicken I had some chopped veggies in olive oil. We also slow cooked BBQ baby backs using my son's dry rub. Awesome!
After I bought these at the Q, I have looked all over for them, on-line and otherwise. I only found them in Australia. Now we have a domestic source. I just ordered 3 more sets for gifts!
