Getting back to the OP's original question --

He stated that the 3665RE's rated pin weight is 2000 pounds. If he's using that figure to determine his truck loading, he's making a mistake. The pin weight of that trailer, loaded, will approach 2800-3000 pounds. He will be way over his GVWR and he should watch his tire/axle loading carefully.

I really wish the manufacturers would not publish dry pin weights. Too many people use that number in their truck calculations, which might cause problems. Who pulls around a "dry" trailer anyway?
