Greetings, my wife and I will be camping in Wells Maine in June this year for a week. After that, we would like to go further north to see more of the northern coastal area of Maine. We love places like Ogunquit, Perkins Cove,and Marginal Way. We were wondering if anyone here has been up mid and northern Maine, and has found small villages that are similar to Perkins Cove, scenic and lots of shops to walk through. Also, tips on nice clean campgrounds would really be appreciated as well.
