Last fall, we also had wet carpet in the living room slide after a fairly heavy rain. After checking all the moulding, trim, and window flange, we discovered the culprit. Big pine needles squezzed between rubber seal and top of slideout. Now I sweep the slides if we've camped in the woods. We have had much heavier rain since but problem seems to be fixed.
