Max, you are the first person I have heard mention breaking of the skirts. The screw nearest the door kind of mounts over the top of the 6 inch thing around the edge of the slide. This is about 1/4 - 3/8 inch thick. I made the mistake of REALLY tightening down the screw right near this edge. It ended up fracturing the skirt around the screw hole and I had to patch it back up with a fiberglass kit. Seems dumb to have a screw in an area that will break the skirt if you tighten it!!!
