Part of our trip May 2015. Bham to San Antonio-forget it. San Antonio to Roswell terrible road 285 with giant potholes that could break an axle,stayed 1 nite at Dexter-Midwaay Park just south of Roswell, P.A. park good for quick one nite..Roswell to Albuquerque, stayed at Enchanted Travel RV and trading post, nice folks but very dusty cg (very near CW). Alb.to Cortez, co. stayed at Mesa Verde RV Park ,nice park and people and across the road from MVNP a highlight of our trip, stayed 3 nites instead of one. Close to Durango for a day trip for the train ride and sightseeing. Take.NP bus ride thru MVNP and try to get on David Nighteagles tour.. Easy trip to Moab stay atPortal Rv park very convenient to everything (at least 3 days) best park on this trip.. Moab to Col. Springs via Denver stay at Garden of the Gods cg Manitou Springs and see GotG State Prk and Pikes Peak. We also like Rocky Mtn N.P. @ Estes Park. At the time of your trip you may see lots of elk in rut, ask at Park Hdqtrsfor location. If you are seniors be sure to get a $10.00 lifetime NP pass.Have fun.
