It's not whether or not you can tow it, its CAN YOU STOP IT? It's what do you do when you have a blow out, down hill, on a curve, in the rain? A 2500 can surely tow it... it's the times you can't imagine that are more important. A dually is just more stable a platform to tow with. If a dealer says you can tow a trailer with a straight face that exceeds what you should already know, before you set foot on their lot, about your truck's limits, your next move is to turn around and leave.
