Using the existing wiring, replaacing all the speakers should be a sap. I just priced out the Sony 5 disc system, 289 and Circuit City, looks great, and is a hell of a lot better than the quest. As far as an A/B switch, I know in my bedroom upstairs, there is a switch in the ceiling to turn the speakers on and off, so even if the unit I buy does not have one, there is one there, so those of you looking to change your system, check and see if you have a similar switch.
