Stiles--must agree with your last sentence! Bill's mother had AARP insurance which covered her final illness--nearly four months in intensive care. The bottom line was an incredible (we still can't believe the amount!) $999,000+ and AARP covered every penny. The entire family will be forever grateful that she made the choice to use them.
