Medical insurance is a big problem for us. We're a few years away from retirement but when my wife retires we'll both lose insurance. She'll be on Medicare but I'm a few years younger so I'll have to find an affordable plan. My agent told me although it will be expensive, the cost won't be the main problem. The biggest problem is that they will likely exclude just about everything related to any pre-existing conditions. That will leave us paying most of the cost out of pocket anyway.
