Easier to just change tube on gooseneck to king pin from 2 5/16 ball. Lots of them change ,or while your welding in new steel or ramp cut ball hitch off and install king pin. More to life than lifting 5th wheels in and out of truck. I have hoist in shop to remove mine. Trying to age upright rather than hunched over crippled.
