Maybe I need to clarify my comment earlier. If GM would have put the filler in a convenient location under the hood, I would be much more supportive. The filler is located near the rear of the engine compartment on the passenger side. My vehicle is a 4x4 which puts it a bit taller. I usually buy my DEF in a box that contains 2.5 gallons and has a built in filler hose. The size of the filler orfice is just slightly larger than the hose. Lifting a 23 lb box, holding the hose, and trying to hit the target opening is no fun, especially when you spill some of the fluid. When I look at the windshield washer fill located in a convenient spot, I have to wonder why did they locate the DEF fill where it's at? When GM makes me chief test engineer, that will be my first order of business!
