Glad everything worked out ok for you. I had a day like that once and was also very lucky. That was all it took for me to get a bed saver. I really enjoy the security even while driving knowing it’s always there to catch the Monty when needed. I don’t know how effective it would be while driving but I like the feeling of having it there anyway. I will say that it requires making certain the king pin always clears the bed saver each time while hooking up or un-hooking the truck but it’s worth the added effort IMO.
