I use about 1-2 tablespoons of Riddex once a month......let it sit till I dump again......also....I add a couple of squirts of Dawn dish soap. Did that when we got the 5ver and the tanks were not right......after a few times with my combo..the read right now. Although...now I know exactly when to dump without looking at the sensors.
