Just finished my slide topper install. I removed my gutter rails, which was a lot of work to remove the silicone remnant from the camper. I finally found a product that worked well in removing the silicone. Still took scraping, but the product really softened up the silicone.
The new rails went on fine (was able to use a scissor lift, which really helped with the install).
