I have a GM dually which has polished aluminum wheels. If you try to rotate the tires, the inside rear wheel is steel. If you put it on the front it will look pretty crappy. Also, I have been told the studs are not long enough if you were to try to put both aluminum wheels on the rear because they are thicker. I agree with everybody else, don't think it's worth the expense to dismount. In 10,250 miles I can see little or no wear on mine....
