I found the fan on my 3295, and heard it run only once, when I was standing real close to it. During very warm weather, my refer stays about 34 to 37. I thought there might be a switch to cut in on or off, but it is thermosatatically controlled by the upper fins on the refer.
If you do not have one, try a small fan from wally world, on that has a clip on base. plug it in at the bottom of the refrigerator vent (outside there is a 110V plug) and point it 'up the chute'. Did this trick on my pop up during hot weather, kept everything very cold.
