Skip, no you can't as long as it is attached. You can use the black tank rinse to clean out the hose. I do have the additional valve as KTManiac has, but I also have the clear elbow so I can see that my lines are mt. That interferes with the new boom mount.
Right now, I'm still in favor of cutting a hole and installing the sewer door like what was on our model we traded in.
KT, where do you store the donut and turn down for the cg's hookup?
