3400RL SEWER BOOM AND GALLEY DRAIN

I have not seen this discussed, but on our new 3400, the tech indicated that they recommend that owners use the sewer boom for hose storage only. You can pull off the hose connection between the sewer outlet and the boom and connect your hose in the old fashion manner. His only negative comment was that if the boom was intended for storage, then why can you only get a 10' hose in the boom. He felt that for very little effort they could have made it bigger for longer hoses.

The other change is that the valve for the galley drain has been moved from between the drivers side tires to just above and to the right of the sewer hookup. Still hard to get to since it is under the slide and they put it up high on the frame with very little room for my large hand. Another comment the tech had was why not put this handle with the others in the convenience center?

Still we like our unit.
