We have owned the Splendide Combo vented and the Splendide Ariston stackable. For sure go with the vented, less moisture and the dryer heat will go outside.. We also prefer the side by side W/D vs the Combo. However with the Everest 343L we could only use the Combo. When we went to the Cambridge we went with the Stackable Ariston.
