WE travel with just enough water in our tank to look after any emergencies along the way. We hook up with campground water upon arriving. I see no need to travel with all the extra weight. Most of us are carring enough weight around as it is. If there is no campground hookups, we will fill up at their supply before going to our site. All campgrounds have water available somewhere.
