I was thinking that Keystone started putting hydraulic landing gear legs on Montana in 2011. It might have been an option. Shortly there after, they began installing LCI's 6-point level up system. I thought all 2012's had hydraulic landing gear but again, I could be wrong.
The reason the old Challenger has the early version of hydraulic landing gear is a long and boring story from my time at Lippert years ago. Since then, I think they have made huge improvements in the reliability in this system. My next unit, no matter who the manufacturer is, will have it.
