I have a Montana and a Cougar. We travel in the Couger and the drain pipes are very close to level and are very slow to drain. If the unit is slightly off level the wrong way when draining the pipes don't drain completely. Having an unpleasant experience enough times I installed a cap with a gray water spout. To that I connected a simple "end of hose shotoff" and replaced the hose bib cap. When I now drain I have the hose all set up, I take the small cap off, hold the 3" drain hose in the position to catch the small amount in the cap and open the little valve. When that has completed draining I close the little valve, carefully remove the 3" cap put the hose on in the normal matter and precede to dump. Sounds overwhelming when reading (inagine typing all this on my tablet) but it takes barely longer than skipping the sanitary way.
