The trucking industry wants another 260,000 trucks on the road!! That is insane! There are too many trucks on the road now. Coming down I-5 in California with 2 lanes, you have to stay in passing lane most of the time. Also the rest stops are overflowing with truckers and are parked on the off ramp and exit because there isn't room for them. More trucks will make it more dangerous and convenient for travel all over the country. This request should be denied and put a limit to the number even it slows delivery time.
