You have to buy the monitor that best fits your situation. The one that we got is for a 10 wheel motor home pulling a six wheel trailer. We only use six monitors on the dually and when we get the Monty we will only use four on the trailer. The unused sensor locations remain dark on the screen.

From what others have said on these posts, I think if at all possible, a change to a longer valve stem would be a better option than an extension. Others have said that the extensions have a tendency to work loose and lose air pressure. Our recent change over from rubber to solid valve stems only cost $1.85 per tire, not a large amount of money.
