Hi,
I was told to avoid reducing the load capacity of a beam, like those supporting the floor above the cargo area, only drill holes in the neutral zone. This zone can be represented by a line drawn along the beam, halfway up or down the height of the beam. For example, a 2" high beam will have a neutral zone 1" from bottom of the beam, all the way across the beam.
