HEADBOARD AND BEDROOM CURTAIN MODS

Ever since we got our rig, we were not very happy with the material used for the headboard and curtains in the bedroom. We had been thinking of what to replace them with and now thanks to MOC member “Lije Baley” (Bill & Mariana) we have incorporated a refreshing change. When they came to visit last year, Mariana had done a nice upgrade to their bedroom which gave us the inspiration. They have the Sapphire interior so their décor is in blue. Ours is Mocha and I was lucky enough to find the same material Mariana had used but in a “rattan” color on line. We are very pleased with the results. Below are a couple of photos and a link to a more descriptive picture show of the entire project: Headboard & Curtain project. If you click on each individual photo it will open with a description or you can click slideshow.

ON EDIT: I have added a couple of photos below showing the location of the screws that held the original headboard to he wall.

There were about 5 screws that held the old headboard to the wall. They were located around the perimeter of the headboard and hidden under the edge of the material around the border.
