We have a device called a Kill O watt meter.it wll monitor watts, Volts, amps, KH and KWH'.Plug in any device and it will measure those usages. We checked out the usage of all our devices and marked them so we know how many amps it will draw.

These Montanas use a lot of energy and you can run off 30 amps but not much.According to our PT 50C right now we are drawing 21 amps with the main A/C running with the Tv and PC on nothing else. This Montana will draw 5 to 7 amps with nothing running. Remember with 50 amp service you actually have 100amp service. With 30 amp you have 30 amp and that is it. On a hot day with both A/C running and maybe a couple of other things we have seen 41 amps being pulled.
