If you are talking about the Banks Speed Brake it is integrated with the tow/haul system. When set to manual or it will use the transmission, torque converter and the variable vane turbo to control vehicle speed when coasting and to assist braking. In the automatic mode it is a braking assist using the same components. If you are talking about a traditional exhaust brake then I would suggest that using the tow/haul system at the same time gives you the same combination of assists.
